The Beginning
It started over coffee at Ou Meul — a November afternoon, you across the table, and a conversation neither of us wanted to end. Dinner at Cattle Baron followed, and still I didn't want the evening to be over.
But it was later, on a private beach with a picnic and the whole sky turning gold, that I asked you to be mine.
You said yes with a sunset behind you. That moment is mine forever.

Two silly gooses, going against the flow — making our own rules, at our own pace.
We chose each other quietly. Just us, our parents, and a church that felt like the most right place in the world.
No big production. Just the truest thing I've ever done.

My Calm
Annie, you came into my life during one of the hardest seasons I've known.
Losing my gran left a hollow I didn't know how to fill. And then there was you — not trying to fix it, not rushing me — just staying.
You accepted every part of me. The flaws, the chaos, the hard days. You stand in my corner when I doubt myself. You make the noise inside my head, quiet.
I am not the richest man. Not the strongest in the room. But with you beside me, I feel like I am enough.
